Welcome

I have been a Florida attorney since 1999 with over 15 years of experience in civil, family and criminal law. I have an office in Miami, FL and a satellite office in The Villages, FL, which allows me to service clients in various parts of Florida. I graduated from the University of Miami Law School, and after 2 years practicing law for others, I opened up my own office and have been at the same Miami location for over 15 years. I am proud to serve the local community and look forward to meeting your legal needs.

Divorce Law

Divorce Law

Often I get calls asking how much is a divorce? Well, divorce is a legal process, so depending on the process, that’s how much it costs. I try to offer flat rates when divorces are by agreement, but litigation requires an hourly rate. Divorces by agreement, are the least expensive, and can often be completed in less than 30 days. Divorces by publication, take up to six months and cost the same, assuming the person is not found, or if found, but does not respond. Litigation issues, are done on an hourly basis.

Criminal Law

Criminal Law

Criminal law is divided into several phases.
ARREST. You should hire a lawyer as soon as possible. Speak to no one about the case, especially the police and any investigators. You are under no obligation to give information.
ARRAIGNMENT. This is where you pled guilty not guilty or no contest. If you hire me as your attorney before this phase, I can negotiate the best deal given the circumstances. You can choose to accept or decline the deal. I charge a flat fee for this service.

TRIAL If you choose not to plea bargain the case, we can request a trial.

Estate Planning, Wills, Probate

Estate Planning, Wills, Probate

Often people call seeking wills, when they should be asking for an estate plan. A simple and complete estate plan will usually include: a durable power of attorney, a living will, a health care surrogate, a pre-need guardianship, and a will.

You will need another set of documents for your spouse or partner.

If you have extensive assets, then you may need tax advice as well. Finally, probate is the legal action to divide your assets and debts after you pass.
